Roses Oh My!

Nestled in Portland's Washington Park, there is an enchanting and fragrant place called the Portland International Rose Garden.  In the summertime, high hundreds of varieties of roses bloom in beds, boxes, fences, poles, arbors and trellises.  The Garden is really hard to describe but I will try to the best of my ability.  Picture a fragrant-aired rainbow-colored wonderland with perfectly cut grass and fresh mulch.  Many people walk down the aisles, sniffing the roses and taking photographs.  The end.
Some plants have various colors of roses.  There might be a pink rose on the same stem as a yellow one.  There are roses the size of dinner plates and roses the size of quarters.  It is truly a gardener, tourist or photographer's heaven.  It is MY heaven on earth.  It is amazing. Spectacular. Gorgeous. Fragrant. Perfect.  On top of it all, if you were to cut a single rose, there is a fine of, I'm almost positive, $500.00.  Yes, that's right.  A single rose.
Photographs are worth a thousand words.  These pictures that I took might give you an idea of the flawlessness (is that even a word?) of the roses at the garden.  Enjoy!
