Like my mom often says, I can go into a clothing store and try on 20 pairs of jeans and not ONE of them will fit. They're either too flipping short or too flipping big in the waist and barely long enough... Thanks to my cousin, I have three pairs of perfectly-perfect jeans, that I simply adore, and a pair of brown cords (essential) and a pair of black Hudson jeans.
I am so very truly lucky and spoiled and all. The most recent pair of pants are Genetic Denim jeans... Woohoo! I love them...They are absotootely perfect in every possible way. I know you're jealous. I know I'm spoiled. :)

Makeup #1- Statement Lips
I love love love glossy [red] lips and minimal mascara.... i guess this isn't minimal but what the heck, it's close enough..
I have discovered that there is this trend of having little eyeshadow/liner and Statement Lips. CoverGirl makes the Outlast Lipstain, which gives girls statement lips. Add a clear lip gloss and you're top-notch!

Kiki Magazine---for girls with STYLE and SUBSTANCE
I'm going to a Kiki photoshoot in early March-- I've been walking on clouds lately :)
Anyway, I'd TOTALLY recommend Kiki to any friend/relation that is interested in style, culture, fashion, etc. The mag is totally blasty (adjective: awesome, sweet, bully, swell)
I gtg but I'll have more updates soon!
Je T'embrasse,

Letter #1
Dear Readers,
Is anyone REALLY reading this? To tell the truth, I have absolutely no idea. I hope so, but my hopes aren’t high. I’ve been taking a break from blogging. It wasn’t my idea, at all. However, I’m back to it now and that’s all that matters.
I have a new item that I’ve added to both my "planet" blogs.
· More type! I been feeling that I don’t write enough. I supply the information but not the creative writing and personality that I have. The point of blogging is writing… right? I’m adding this letter to all of my “planet” blogs. Traveling Typewriter is [to the most part] photographs.
I’m very excited! We’re taking three trips in the next two months. I’ll have so much to write about. Yipee!!
Do you like my blog? Do you have questions? Comments? Let me know. I’d love to hear from you! :) Please send me an email. (see side bar)
Au revoir,
Je T’embrasse,
Leah

January 6-Epiphany
January 6, my birthday, is the sixth day of the year as well as epiphany. Epiphany is the climax of the Advent or Christmas season beginning on the twentieth of December to the sixth of January. In Latin, Hispanic and some places in Europe, Epiphany is known as Three Kings' Day. This painting portrays the Epiphany, or the showing or revealing, of Jesus. His mother, Mary, gently cradles him in her arms, even though his chubby body is larger than her lap.
The colors of Epiphany are gold and white. These colors represent celebration, newness and hope.
Traditionally, a bean is baked into the Epiphany galette or King's cake, made of puff pastry. When a family gathered to eat the cake, the person to receive the bean in their piece of cake would be crowned king.
Other events to occur on the sixth of January:
-The birth of Joan of Arc (1412)
-Theodore Roosevelt dies (1919)
-George W. Bush wins presidential election (2001)
-Carl Sandburg, author is born (1878)
-New Mexico became the 47th state (1912)
-My birthday! (1996)
